Replacing a tub can cost in the thousands when you add the cost of the replacement tub and hiring a plumber, along with the fact that your tile and flooring must be removed in order to remove the existing tub. Not to mention, you may not be able to fit a new tub through the door, as tubs are usually installed before the walls and door frames in a new home.
Surface Solutions offers an alternative to this costly procedure in the way of resurfacing. Starting at $279, you can have a "new" tub again, and in most cases, you cannot tell the difference between a properly resurfaced tub and a factory tub.
We start by prepping the surface with an industrial cleaner and repairing any cracks, chips, or rust. We then apply our Aerospace Primer which is a durable primer used in the aerospace industry. This allows a perfect bond between the new and old surfaces. Finally, your tub will be top-coated with a high solids acrylic (the only materials that should be used in modern tub resurfacing). This is a naturally glossy material that can be applied in any color and will give you years of enjoyment.
